Netflix Wii Wad Channel 12: How to Download and Install the Latest Version

Channels marked "Discontinued" have stopped working and are no longer useful in any meaningful capacity. Some of these channels provided limited-time content for upcoming games, TV specials, or similar offerings. Many others, such as Weather, News, and the Check Mii Out and Everybody Votes channels were discontinued June 27, 2013 as part of a phase-out of WiiConnect24.

I've taken a look at why Minna no Nintendo Channel returns a 177404:On a Japanese Wii, the data is loaded from On a US Wii, the data is loaded from Since this is the Japanese server, US/en does not exist, so the channel must be tricked somehow to load from /4/JP/ja/csdata.LZ

I modified the Minna no Nintendo Channel to go to the JP/ja/csdata.LZ, but it fails to get and This was done by changing the US to JP and the en to ja, but it looks like csdata.LZ may contain data from multiple regions, so it is still sending the incorrect US data which is causing error 262000. It looks like the values of the region being sent to the channel needs to be faked as coming from a Japanese system.

I'll be damned...you're banned from WiiSpeak. There is a universal unban code for ocarina floating around the net. You can try applying that ocarina code using Gecko OS 1.9 or newer (it has a channel launcher), but I've had limited success with ocarina on channels. There's also a file on your wii you can hack to change your identifier and unban the console, but I don't have the details on it ATM.

If you look you will see it is actually a channel, not the .wad itself. This is the channels page not homebrew and hasn't been updated in 4 months.Apart from that, there isn't much difference between v1.3 & 1,7 anyway, they both install .wad's

i took your advice and uninstall with the wad manager, then installed the new one. it asked for an update, too. So i uninstalled that one as well, then rebooted (unplugged power), then went to the shop channel and I was finally able to install the new one. It works fine now. Thanks for the tips.

Thanks, I had this exact problem and your solution worked. I used MMM to (re)install and the uninstall Netflix, and then the Wii Shop channel was able to install it.I also had to use dop-mii to install the latest Wii Shop channel.

I realize this is working for most/all of you but I am still having issues. When I go to install the Netflix using wad manager I get error 1029 and can never get Netflix to install without that error message. I have updated shop channel and Netflix starts to download and then says error 204306.I have also installed ISO56 and that has not helped me. Any help at this point would be appreciated.Thank you in advance.

Netflix is a rental company based in California. Online, people can rent DVDs and Blu-ray movies and stream thousands of films over the internet. In January of 2010, Nintendo announced that they were partnering with Netflix so that Wii owners could stream movies on their console to watch on their television by ordering a disc from Netflix. In October of 2010, it was announced that Wii owners could download the Netflix Channel for free using the Wii Shop Channel without using discs. In order to watch movies, users must already have a paid subscription to Netflix. The channel was released in the United States and Canada on October 18, 2010, and service was expanded to include the United Kingdom and Ireland on January 9, 2012.

The Wii Channels are features/applications of Wii stored in a Channel slot on the Wii Menu that features an animated icon. Selecting a channel icon with the Wii Remote's button then allows the user to open it by clicking the "Start" button. The Wii Channel Menu features 48 Channel slots spanning four screens, with each screen having 12 Channel slots. Therefore, a single Wii can have a total of 48 Channels. With the exception of the Disc Channel, all Wii Channels on Wii systems with Wii Menu firmware 2.0 and beyond can be moved by grabbing a Channel icon (by pressing the and buttons together simultaneously), moving the icon over an open Channel slot, and releasing the buttons.

By updating the Wii console's firmware, connecting one's Wii to the Internet, and downloading additional Channels/software and updates, one can gain access to new channels and features, all of which are selectable from the Wii Channel Menu.

Each of the following Channels is built into the Wii hardware, and so all Wii users have access to their diverse features. These channels cannot be deleted. The Forecast Channel, News Channel, and Wii Shop Channel require an Internet connection to function.

The Disc Channel allows users to play Wii disk-based titles and Nintendo GameCube software that is inserted into the Wii console's front-loading disk drive. The Disc Channel is the only channel that cannot be moved without hacking.

The Mii Channel is a channel available on default for the Wii. It is an avatar creation channel which allows the user to create characters that can be used in various video games for the Wii. Miis have become the most iconic characters of the Wii generation, appearing in the Wii series of games among many others, both first and third party. The list of available options when editing the characters' Mii is limited, though their unique appearance have contributed to their success. After conceiving a Mii, the player can insert their character into the Wii Remote and transfer it to another Wii system. This can also be done by connecting to Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.

There are a variety of additional Channels that Wii users may enjoy other than those included on the Wii hardware. New Channels are generally available for download on the Wii Shop Channel. These channels may be backed up to an SD Card if necessary.

Currently available in the WiiWare section of the Wii Shop Channel for free, the Everybody Votes Channel utilizes the Mii caricatures created in the Mii Channel to allow users to vote in and predict the results of several two-response National and Worldwide polls, register and view voting history for up to six Miis, view poll results by gender and territory, and suggest poll questions and responses that may or may not be used by Nintendo in the future. Before June 27, 2013, the channel's Wii Menu icon scrolls the question and responses for the latest National poll on the channel.

The Check Mii Out Channel allows users to enter their Miis created on the Mii Channel in contests, as well as share their Mii swith the rest of the world. This channel requires an Internet connection to share Miis.

Esto significa que Netflix ya no está disponible para descargar desde Nintendo eShop en sistemas Nintendo Wii U o 3DS. Visita devices.netflix.com para consultar una lista de dispositivos compatibles.

If you have hacked/homebrew wii, you'll notice that Nintendo released a new Shopping Channel update (v21). In order to download the new update, you need to upgrade your wii system. I'm on wii system 4.2 and for some reason Nintendo won't let me download the new system update. So here's how to install the new Shopping Channel without updating the wii system...1. Download the Shopping Channel v21 wad and stick it on the /wad folder on your SD card.2. Use either Multi Mod Manager or Wad Manager, from the Homebrew Channel. If you don't have the homebrew channel, see here.)3. Either 'Load another IOS' or load the wad directly.4. It might take a few moments, but the wad will install. Exit the app, exit homebrew, and open the Shopping Channel. It should be working again.--- Donezo! 2ff7e9595c
